Seis municipios de la Provincia de Buenos Aires firmaron esta mañana un convenio de cooperación con la Municipalidad de San Miguel y el Ministerio de Gobierno bonaerense, a fin de implementar el programa de seguridad ciudadana “Ojos en Alerta” en sus distritos.
Los intendentes de San Pedro, Olavarría, 9 de Julio, Mar Chiquita, Lezama y Lobería fueron recibidos por el ministro de Gobierno bonaerense, Joaquín de la Torre, y por el intendente de San Miguel, Jaime Méndez, entre otros funcionarios, con quienes suscribieron el acuerdo de cooperación.
«Ojos en Alerta» conecta a los vecinos con el centro de monitoreo municipal a través de WhatsApp, para alertar de forma inmediata ante un hecho delictivo o accidente. Utiliza recursos como fotos, videos, mensajes de texto, audios y ubicación, convirtiendo al celular en un verdadero botón antipánico.
Esta valiosa herramienta de seguridad cuenta ya con más de 20 mil inscriptos en San Miguel y está siendo replicada en distintos municipios de la provincia como Escobar, Pinamar y Coronel Rosales.
“Siempre es valioso intercambiar experiencias entre los municipios. En este caso es muy alentador que estemos trabajando en conjunto con herramientas que contribuyan con la seguridad de nuestros vecinos –señaló Jaime Méndez-. Ojos en Alerta nos está dando muy buenos resultados en San Miguel y espero que así sea en todos sus distritos. La clave es la participación y el compromiso de los vecinos”.
